Theft robbed a wedding dresses store

The thieves robbed the tailoring "Barleduc" Elm taking away even wedding dress sales ready. The holder is unleashed with a sign controversial
A shop emptied, a booty for over ten thousand euro, a sign in plain sight: "Thanks to our politicians and the Italian justice system: catched theft" . Another shot at night in Martellago, another in recent months. To make noise this time is the furious reaction of the owner against the institutions and that have been stolen as well wedding dresses ready for the upcoming wedding. Everything happened at 3:30 in the night between Thursday and Friday, when a gang of thugs raided the tailor shop "Barleduc" in Piazza Olmo Maestri del Lavoro (pictured).
As reported by local newspapers, a thief forced the front door with a crowbar and then raiding the items on display in the window . They stole three cheap maternity wedding dresses, some historical costumes for men, shoes and a computer. Less attractive instead the cash fund, where they were stolen just thirty Euros in cash. It may be that the thief acted alone, with an accomplice who was waiting for him outside and then drifting at full speed.
The alarm was raised by a friend of the shopkeeper, who on Friday morning past the windows she noticed the door ajar and the place ransacked. On site are sealed before the owner and a few minutes later the Police, but now of course there was nothing more to do. few days ago in the same area were also visited various underground garages , thieves took away brand bicycles, a computer and mountain clothing.

2013 Fall Trend

Quiz: What Fall 2013 Trend Should You Try?

Quiz fall 2013 trends header

It’s official: pumpkin everything is back. And that can only mean one thing: it’s time to pull out those chunky knits, boots, and tights because, folks, it is officially fall. To update your style this autumn, look no further than some of the season’s hottest trends that graced the runways during Fall Fashion Week.
Not sure which Fall 2013 trend is right for you? Just take the quiz below to find out! Once you get your answer, find your letter and corresponding result below for a sample outfit based on your personality type.

Fall Flowers

Combat boots, floral dress, denim jacket
This outfit is great for those warmer, almost-fall days. I paired a summer dress with a denim jacket, although, if you have one, I think a denim vest would look pretty snazzy, too. I opted to leave my legs bare, but knee-high socks or tights would also be a stylish addition if it’s chillier where you are.
As for the dress, who says floral is only for spring and summer? Like with most patterns, if the floral has a dark base – in this case, black – it’s definitely appropriate for sipping pumpkin spice lattes and crunching on leaves on your way to class.

Lace Wedding Dress + Silver Words Wedding

An Antique Lace Wedding Dress For A Beautiful Irish Bride

Silver Words Wedding

An Antique Lace Wedding Dress For A Beautiful Irish Bride

"Liam and I met at a music festival in Clapham, London. Liam is 6’4” so I saw his head pop up over the crowd grinning at me!  He proposed on a Saturday morning before taking me out in London for the day, it was completely out of the blue so I was very shocked. We were engaged for just over a year."

"My dress was sourced, designed and made by the amazing Jane Bourvis. I stumbled across her shop years ago on a crazy street near Portabello Road. It’s truly a stunning shop and she is just lovely.  Jane's shop is like no other shop I have ever been in.
You are guaranteed to leave with something truly unique and beautiful.  Jane sources pieces of antique lace and then styles them together into the most stunning dresses I’ve ever seen. The lace on my dress was over 100 years old!"

"I tried on a few of her dresses and I loved them all! But this one had a style all of its own and I just loved it from the first moment I saw it! It had a different belt to begin with so I changed that but it's more or less how Jane put it together. It's not white, it's a lovely golden champagne colour. I really didn’t want a classic off the peg 'wedding dress', but I also wanted something fairly traditional.
I didn't wear a veil. I think the dress did enough! Jane did however give me the most beautiful old hair comb to wear on the day. It was costume jewellery but fairly old. It suited the style of the dress perfectly. She saw me admire it and she gave it to me as a gift a few weeks before the wedding."

"We searched high and low and scoured Pinterest for stylish bridesmaid dresses that didn’t look  'bridesmaidy'. I hated all of the dresses available 'for bridesmaids'. Why do they have to look like bridesmaids in a dress they'll never wear again?? And any dresses in the high street shops were too unsuitable as they were too short, tarty, tight, etc.
We ended up falling for these ones which were on a website in America called Nordstrom. They're made by Maggie London (but ironically not available in the UK). They are really beautiful dresses and totally wearable, comfortable, stylish. I thought they were perfect but it's a shame we had to go so far afield to find decent dresses!"

"I went a bit off-piste and wore sky-high sparkly Carvella shoes from House of Fraser. I loved them and surprisingly they really worked with the dress. I wanted to be tall for my very tall husband-to-be and thankfully I didn’t break my neck!"

"Liam spoiled himself with a suit from Richard James in Saville Row in London. He'd been planning on getting a good suit for years, this seemed like a good opportunity to debut it!
He bought his bow tie from Mrs Bowtie. His shoes were from Barker as was the belt, his shirt was Hugo Boss."

"A lady called Kate from Dungannon did my flowers. I loved them! They were just what I wanted. She did both of my sister's flowers at their weddings."

"I designed and made all the invitations, orders of service, place cards, menus and table names.   I got the idea for the invitations online and I found the font ‘Landsdowne’ (for free) online. I wrapped the invitations in brown paper and string and bought decorative stamps from the post office website. I thought they looked like little packages from the war!   I bought cheap picture frames for the table names (for about £1 each from Tiger). I used luggage tags for the place settings and tied them to everyone’s wine glass.
The table plan was written on an old window frame which my brother found in a salvage yard. I wrote all the names on each pane with a white glass marker the day before the wedding.   I found a lot of these ideas on Pinterest, it was great for original ideas!"

"We loved Larchfield from the moment we saw it so there was no question there really. The outdoor gardens were so established and beautiful and the old barn was just what we wanted.
Jane-bourvis-antique-lace-wedding-dress-irish-wedding_0033
"We used my great-grandfather's car to take us around. My uncle has had it completley re-conditioned and kindly lent it to us along with Jim our driver! It was really perfect for the day.  Then we hired a bus to get everyone to/from the church and Larchfield. Liam's relatives had all flown/driven over from Wales or England, so they needed some help. It meant it was one less thing to worry about." .....

Silver Words - Mrs G’s Dancey Dance

Kevin is very into his music so he was a bit wary of hiring a DJ. He used to be a bit of a local pub DJ in his younger days and still has all the equipment so he did a playlist for the night (he called it Mrs G’s dancey dance) and everyone commented the next day on how amazing the music was.
What was great was that they were tunes that we both loved or meant a lot to us so it made it really personal. The only downside was that I don’t think I finished a single conversation as half way through I ran away from everyone towards the dance floor screaming the words “I love this song!”
An Ethereal Bohemian Inspired Wedding At Standlow Farm With Tipis From Papakata A David Fielden Dress And Juliet Cap Veil With A Sweet Avalanche Rose Bouquet 10 Silver Words.
Our first dance was “Silver words” by Sixto Rodriguez, it’s a song that Kevin has always loved and the first time he played it to me I fell in love with the lyrics so it felt like the perfect choice.

Red Velvet

Neither of us are big fans of canapés however, we are both very big fans of cake! So we decided to have red velvet cupcakes with prosecco and elderflower cordial for all our guests when they arrived. My very talented sister and her friend offered to make them for us and my equally talented auntie made our three-tiered Victoria sponge wedding cake which basically equalled a seriously sweet cake-tastic delight!!
We wanted a formal sit down wedding breakfast but still wanted it to feel relaxed. Papakata introduced us to Lesley fromSaunts, each course was a big dish that was put in the middle of each table with someone nominated to play mum and dish up. It made it really sociable and got everyone talking. So many guests commented on how amazing the food was, it was proper home cooked dishes that really suited the day.

My parents live in France and offered to bring all the wine for the tables back with them, we bought carafes for each table and the Saunts team just kept on filling them up throughout the meal. It felt like we had an endless supply of wine that just kept coming, there was so much we were even able to keep it coming the next day at the BBQ.

Take One Handmade Wedding Ring

One of the most important aspects of the wedding for us both was that we wanted it to be really personal and reflect us as a couple. This meant that we did a lot of stuff ourselves. We made all the invites and orders of service as well as any other stationery. To tie it all together, we used the same typography throughout; such as the vinyl we had made for the light box.
We also designed badges as favours for our guests. We attached these to luggage tags with guests’ names on which we pinned to a board then used this as the seating plan. We also designed stickers which the kids loved and stuck on just about everyone and everything.

The most time consuming yet, rewarding DIY thing I did was to make Kevin’s wedding ring. I made it from a silver American half dollar from the year his Dad was born. It took me what felt like a lifetime but now he gets to wear something that I’ve made for the rest of his lifetime, it sounds cheesy but I love it.
There was a lot of hard work involved and we had to prioritise what was most important but it was worth it when it all came together and it felt so personal to us.
The best advice I can give is to make your day as much about the two of you as possible. Try and plan it together, Kevin was much more involved in the whole process than most grooms probably are and it was much more rewarding knowing that the whole day really did reflect us both.

Many of our guests commented on how personal the service was this was because Kevin’s uncle was our priest and it meant a lot to us both that he could marry us, it also meant that there wasn’t a dry eye in the house especially Kevin’s!! (He cried a lot). The ceremony was by far my favourite part of the day, it’s the moment all the hard work and planning has been building up to and it’s an amazing feeling showing how much you love this one individual in front of everyone you care about. It’s so easy to get bogged down with the organisation of the reception but my advice is to put as much time and effort in to the ceremony, at the end of the day it’s the most important bit.

Fforest wedding, Glamping Wedding, Campsite wedding, Jenny Packham bride, Wedding in Wales, Emma Case Photography
Last year, my family and I had the loveliest camping-come-glamping holiday at Fforest in Wales, the most beautiful alternative/eco camspite in Wales - you have to check out their website if you're in to that kind of thing, it's an incredible place set in the most stunning natural landscape. Not so long ago, Fforest became a wedding venue - we've alreadyfeatured sevearl beautiful weddings that have taken place there. Today's wedding happened in Fforest too, and it warms my heart to see these beautiful images, taken by my friend and colleague, the delectable Emma Case. Zoe and Darren's wedding took place on 5 May this year and bride Zoe tells us how they ended up tieing the knot in this most beautiful of outdoor natural backdrops... 1. laurel-lime.com Daphne Tiara ú90.00 2. laurel-lime.com Clio Headdress ú265.00
However you choose to wear your hair for your big day, there is a hair accessory to suit every style. Here, Becky from accessory experts Laurel Lime tells us a little bit more about 2014′s most popular details and how they can work with your bridal style…

What’s great about it?

They are perfect for creating height, can be easily worn with a veil and provide instant dramatic effect. If you’re planning a traditional day, you can’t go wrong with a tiara.

Looks best with…

A classic, more traditional look with hair being worn up, or part up to frame the face. It’s the perfect finishing touch for a princess-style day – think Kate Middleton!

What’s great about it?

Side headbands are incredibly versatile, and can be worn easily with any hairstyle, long or short. They flatter most bridal styles effortlessly and have been a modern alternative to tiaras over the last few years.

Looks best with…

Any style. They are a very popular choice for brides right now. A good rule of thumb is to place the headband on the side of the head opposite any dress detailing, such as one shoulder dresses, to harmonise the look. Look for sparkly version for glamorous themes, or pearly examples if you’re going more vintage. real-wedding-Jenna-Andy-featured

A pretty purple real-life wedding in Dorset with Jenna and Andy

by Alice Rimes via Wedding Ideas

How they met

“Andy and I were friends at school, however it wasn’t until the last year that we actually got together,” remembers Jenna.

The proposal

“We went out shopping together and Andy said he was going to let me have a few hours alone,” says Jenna. “I tried contacting him a few times but his phone was off every time. Three hours later I finally got a message telling me to meet him at Bournemouth park. When I got there he was down on one knee with a large box beside him. Inside was a bunny that he had made for me at Build A Bear. He pressed the bunny and it was his voice recorded asking me to marry him,” she adds.

The bride’s outfit

We’ve got serious lace wedding dresses envy over Jenna’s luxurious gown that she bought from Wedding Time in Dorchester. “As soon as I put the dress on I knew instantly it was ‘the one’,” smiles Jenna.

The groom’s outfit

The couple bought Andy’s Volcom suit from an online store called KateSkates. He teamed it with a snazzy pocket square to bring the look up to date.

Class to Night Out: Striped Pencil Skirt

Striped Pencil Skirt

Skirts: ASOS, ASOS, Nordstrom
Do you struggle with transforming your outfits from day to night? Don’t worry, CF is here to help turn that daily annoyance into a fun challenge. Class to Night Out focuses on one piece per week, and aims to help you take your look from study sessions in the library to dancing the night away.

One of my favorite things about interning this summer (besides the valuable work experience) is finally getting to wear all the cute, professional “big girl” outfits I’ve been dreaming of since I was little. (What? I watched The West Wing a lot.)

The downside? Making those outfits acceptable for post-work activities is not exactly simple. If you’re the girl wearing a black two-piece suit and pearls to go sight-seeing in the city with your non-intern friends, you will look like a weirdo (and a sweaty weirdo at that), so versatile pieces are a must – especially in the summertime!

That’s why this week I’ll be showing you one of my favorite work-and-play staples, the striped pencil skirt. These babies are little more youthful than your garden variety pencil skirts, but still look super-polished for the office. Whether or not you’re working this summer, you’re going to want one anyway once you see how I’ve styled one for day and night. Read more ....

Skyler Berman

When your mom is celebrity stylist Rachel Zoe, a great sense of style is pretty much in your genes and jeans. And yes, I’m aware of how cheesy that pun was.
Everyone’s favorite celebrity stylist dresses her son Skyler Berman in boho staples, like loose cuffed jeans, slip-on shoes, and lightweight, blouse-y tops. He’s only been around on earth a short while, but it seems as though Skyler already has a signature piece that completes each of his outfits — a fantastic hat. From fedoras to beanies, newsboys to floppy bucket hats, Skyler appears to have more headwear than Jack White and Johnny Depp – combined!

Although there’s probably a chance Skyler ditches the hat within a couple years (come on…hats, no matter how cool they may look, aren’t exactly conducive to playing freeze tag on the kindergarten playground), there’s no question that he’s currently one of the best-dressed babies the modern world has ever seen. It’s A Boy For Kate And Will!

Kate Middleton Baby Boy
It seems like just yesterday news broke that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were expecting their first child. Fast-forward nine months, and many stylish maternity outfits, later we have a Royal Baby boy! After eight LONG hours of waiting since we first heard Kate was in laborthe official Royal Palace Twitter feed has finally updated. At 4:24 pm England time, Kate safely delivered a baby boy. We now know what the baby will be officially named, or more specifically, his title: His Royal Highness [Name] of Cambridge. This is the first time that name has been used for a royal baby in 190 years since the naming of Prince George, Duke of Cambridge in 1819.
According to the tweets, the baby is 8lbs. 6oz., Will was present for the birth and both sides of the family are delighted with the news. Kate and baby are both doing well and will remain in the hospital overnight.
The Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall have released a statement on the birth of the Prince’s grandchild:
Both my wife and I are overjoyed at the arrival of my first grandchild.  It is an incredibly special moment for William and Catherine and we are so thrilled for them on the birth of their baby boy.
Congrats to the Duke, Duchess and the rest of their proud family! Now, we wait for the next announcement: the name. We can’t even imagine how many dumb celebrity tweets there will be when that news breaks.

The "One Heart" Video

EXCLUSIVE: Leftover Cuties' "One Heart" Video Is a Total Prohibition-Era Party

Fronted by Israeli-bred beauty Shirli McAllen, West Coast jazz-pop group Leftover Cuties combines unconventional instruments—ukelele and accordion, anyone?—to create a unique sound that's equal parts past-era and progressive. The band's sophomore album The Spark & The Fire (pictured at left) drops on July 23, after which we're expecting this under-the-radar quartet won't stay a secret much longer.
Filled to the brim with parasols, pearls and lots of good old-fashioned foot-stomping, the band's brand-new video for "One Heart" has all the trappings of a Prohibition-era barn raising party—and we mean that in the very best sense. Sporting a vintage-y white lace prom dresses online, a striking bobbed wig and the most major set of lashes imaginable, McAllen oozes Billie Holiday-esque charm as she winds her way through a pretty plantation-style estate with an equally sharp-looking cast of characters in tow. Check it out below—and if you like what you hear, head over to Leftovercuties.com to download the track for free! View the video....
