What’s great about it?

They are perfect for creating height, can be easily worn with a veil and provide instant dramatic effect. If you’re planning a traditional day, you can’t go wrong with a tiara.

A classic, more traditional look with hair being worn up, or part up to frame the face. It’s the perfect finishing touch for a princess-style day – think Kate Middleton!

What’s great about it?

Side headbands are incredibly versatile, and can be worn easily with any hairstyle, long or short. They flatter most bridal styles effortlessly and have been a modern alternative to tiaras over the last few years.

Any style. They are a very popular choice for brides right now. A good rule of thumb is to place the headband on the side of the head opposite any dress detailing, such as one shoulder dresses, to harmonise the look. Look for sparkly version for glamorous themes, or pearly examples if you’re going more vintage. real-wedding-Jenna-Andy-featured

How they met

“Andy and I were friends at school, however it wasn’t until the last year that we actually got together,” remembers Jenna.

The proposal

“We went out shopping together and Andy said he was going to let me have a few hours alone,” says Jenna. “I tried contacting him a few times but his phone was off every time. Three hours later I finally got a message telling me to meet him at Bournemouth park. When I got there he was down on one knee with a large box beside him. Inside was a bunny that he had made for me at Build A Bear. He pressed the bunny and it was his voice recorded asking me to marry him,” she adds.

The bride’s outfit

We’ve got serious lace wedding dresses envy over Jenna’s luxurious gown that she bought from Wedding Time in Dorchester. “As soon as I put the dress on I knew instantly it was ‘the one’,” smiles Jenna.

The groom’s outfit

The couple bought Andy’s Volcom suit from an online store called KateSkates. He teamed it with a snazzy pocket square to bring the look up to date.
